Hey! I’m Janet and I’m so glad you stopped by! Grab yourself a cuppa and join me…I’m just an ordinary wife and momma serving an extraordinary God and this is my story of finding joy in the everyday.
:: I love Jesus with all my heart, I want to be more like Him and I’m learning to trust Him more each day. I’ve recently discovered Bible journaling, and I’m loving how it helps me to remember all that God is showing me as I read His Word. Please bear in mind that I am in no way a theologian or Bible teacher. I only share my heart and my thoughts on what God is working on in my life.
:: I have an amazing husband, 6 fabulous kids, 2 sweet daughters-in-love, a wonderful son-in-love, and 2 [edit: 4! 5!! 6!!!] of the cutest (okay, I’m a little biased) grandlittles you ever did see.
:: I have many weaknesses: coffee and chocolate (together is the ultimate combo!), pinterest (I am striving to be a doer also, not a pinner only), trouble with the follow-through (read: many unfinished projects), collecting loads of useless, random “facts” (mostly by accident), taking short-cuts whenever I can (even if it means it won’t be properly done), and a wannabe’s desire to know how to do everything (kinda jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none thing goin’ on) just to name a few…the list continues on and on and on, but you get the idea.
:: My days are filled with homeschooling, working on said Bible journaling and unfinished projects, church activities and the various things that go hand-in-hand with being a wife and momma. We love to have people drop by to see us and often have a few extra around our dinner table. Whenever I have the opportunity, you’ll find me at the beach: stretching my legs, inhaling the salty air, and scanning for beautiful pieces of sea glass.
:: My husband is a business-man turned pastor, and together we serve our awesome God at a new church-plant on Canada’s beautiful east coast.
